Trivial Pursuit Family Edition is a general knowledge game by Hasbro Gaming for families and children from 8 years and up. The box contains 400 cards with 2,400 new general knowledge questions, split into 2 separate stacks: one for children and one for adults.
You play alone or in teams. Taking turns, you move around the board and give correct answers to win wedges. The questions come from 6 categories: geography, entertainment, history, sport and leisure, arts and literature, and science and nature.
Whichever player or team gets all 6 category points first wins by answering the final question correctly. The game plays quickly and includes a Showdown challenge, in which 2 players compete at the same time for a wedge.
